80/20 Pocketing is a lightweight woven fabric made from 80% polyester and 20% cotton, commonly used for pocket linings in trousers, denim, uniforms, and workwear. Constructed in a plain weave, it offers high strength, dimensional stability, smooth hand, and low shrinkage, making it ideal for repeated stress and stitching in garments.

Historically, 80/20 pocketing gained prominence with the growth of mass-produced apparel, providing an efficient, durable, and cost-effective solution for internal garment components.
